Smuggling of ganja by auto, youth arrested

Raigarh/Rourkela: The Excise Department has arrested a youth with illegal ganja. Ganja worth more than Rs 2 lakh has been recovered from the arrested person. On receiving secret information from SI Sridhar Mohanty of Excise Department, hemp is being smuggled in an auto near Plant Site Road.

The officials of the Excise Department raided and seized the auto along with 23 kg 766 grams of ganja. Devraj Kaher, a resident of Kandhamal, has been arrested on charges of smuggling ganja. The case has been registered and presented in the court.
