Softball players Saket and Chandrahas met Chief Minister Sai
Raipur. Soft ball players Saket Banjare and Chandrahas Yadav met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai in the Assembly premises today. Saket had represented Chhattisgarh in the boys category of the Junior Soft Ball competition held in Patna-Bihar. Chhattisgarh team was the runner-up in this competition. Chief Minister Sai encouraged Saket and Yadav and praised them for their better performance.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that the good performance of your team has also increased the prestige of Chhattisgarh. This will inspire other players also. The Chief Minister also wished them good luck for their good performance in future competitions.
The 41st Junior National Softball Championship was held in Patna-Bihar from 21 February to 25 February. Chhattisgarh’s boys team performed brilliantly in the competition and remained undefeated till reaching the finals. The Chhattisgarh team had entered the finals by defeating Delhi, Gujarat, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Punjab, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh.
