Speeding truck hits bike, youth dies
Dantewada. A speeding truck has hit a bike hard in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. In this accident, a young man riding a bike died, while the girl was injured. The injured is undergoing treatment in Bacheli hospital. The accident happened on Dantewada-Bacheli main road. It is being told that the truck driver has fled from the spot. The matter is of Bacheli police station area. According to the information, the youth riding the bike, Rahul Tamo, was a resident of Aytupara of Bade Kameli village. He was going from Bhansi towards Bacheli on a bike with a girl he knew, resident of Bacheli.
Meanwhile, near Nerli Ghat, a speeding truck coming from Bacheli towards Dantewada hit the bike hard. In this accident, both the young man and the girl riding the bike were thrown a long distance. In the accident, the young man died on the spot, while the girl was seriously injured. People passing through this route informed 108 ambulance and police. The ambulance reached the spot and took the injured to Apollo Hospital, Bacheli, where his treatment is currently going on. It is being told that the girl has suffered a head injury. After the accident the truck driver fled from the spot. The police have established a track and started investigating the matter. The absconding truck driver is being searched. The body of the youth has been handed over to his family after postmortem.
