Speeding uncontrolled truck crushed bike riders, all three died on the spot
Fatehpur. Three bike-riding youths coming to the city from Husenganj became victims of an accident on Friday afternoon. An uncontrolled truck going from the city crushed the bike riders in front of Chaupherwa Power House. All three youths died on the spot in the accident. After the accident, the driver left the truck and fled from the spot.
Neelu son of Jagatpal, resident of Kevai village of Radhanagar police station area, Ramau Tiwari son of Bhola Tiwari and Sujit Yadav son of Girjashankar Yadav, resident of Mahamadpur of Ghazipur used to do farming in the village. Family members told that on Friday all three had gone on the same bike to the market in Beragarhiva to see the buffalo. From where he had left to come to the city on the same bike.
He had just reached in front of Chaupherwa Power House on Lucknow Road when a speeding truck going from the city side hit the bike hard. Due to the collision, the bikers fell under the truck and all three were seriously injured. Seeing the accident, the local people ran to the spot but by then all three people riding the bike had died.
On getting information about the incident, Kotwali police including CO reached the spot, took possession of the dead bodies and sent them to the post-mortem house. The driver fled from the spot leaving the truck behind. Police is searching for its owner and driver through the truck number. There was chaos among the family members who reached the post-mortem house on receiving information about the accident after seeing the dead bodies.
