‘Stalin Protects Health’ Project: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s Review

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inspected the activities of the ‘Naalam Kakum Stalin’ project, organized by the Public Welfare Department, at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
A total of ₹13.58 crore has been allocated for this special camp for higher medical services under the ‘Naalam Kakum Stalin’ scheme, with each camp costing ₹1.08 lakh. A total of 1,256 camps will be set up across the state. So far, 632 camps have been set up, benefiting 986,732 people. Speaking at a review meeting on the scheme’s activities, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said:
It should be ensured that people attending the camps under the ‘Naalam Kakum Stalin’ project are provided with drinking water, seating, toilets, and other basic amenities. Advertisements should be made to inform people about the camps and create awareness. A sufficient number of volunteers should be deployed to provide proper guidelines. The elderly and the disabled should be provided with appropriate facilities. He said it should be ensured that those diagnosed with illness in these camps and recommended for further treatment receive follow-up treatment.
