State Technical Advisory Committee meeting regarding crop insurance

Churu: Under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, a meeting of the State Technical Advisory Committee was held on Thursday at the Agriculture Commissionerate in Jaipur regarding crop insurance issues of Kharif 2021 of the district.
Commissioner Kanhaiyalal Swami, Churu District Collector Pushpa Satyani along with officials of Churu Agriculture Department, Statistics Department and related crop insurance company SBI General Insurance Company participated in the meeting chaired by Principal Secretary of Agriculture Department, Vaibhav Galaria.
Issues related to crop insurance of Kharif-2021 of Churu district were discussed in the meeting. Principal Government Secretary Galaria heard the side of the Crop Insurance Company and the Agriculture Department and discussed it with all the officials. He said that based on the facts and figures presented in the meeting, a decision will be taken soon and further action will be taken.
