Stone pelting on three Hindu women going for religious ritual in Nuh
Gurugram. Tension prevailed in Haryana’s Nuh district after three women were injured in stone pelting by unidentified youths, allegedly from a mosque.
According to the police, the incident took place near a mosque around 8.25 pm on Thursday night when a group of women were going for ‘kuan (well) worship’ from Ward No. 10 of Nuh.
Police said that when she reached near the mosque, suddenly stones were pelted, due to which she got injured.
The victims are undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital in Nuh.
Nuh Superintendent of Police Narendra Bijarnia reached the spot with heavy police force and took stock of the situation.
He said, “We are investigating the matter. Some women have suffered injuries during the incident. Action will be taken as per law.”
Six people, including two home guard jawans and a cleric, were killed in communal clashes that broke out in Nuh after a mob attacked the Braj Mandal Yatra of Vishwa Hindu Parishad on July 31.
