Strict action by Reasi Police: FIR registered in two separate cases

Reasi: Continuing its commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring strict enforcement, the Reasi District Police registered two separate First Information Reports (FIRs) against individuals involved in illegal activities. This action sends a clear message of strict law and order in the area. This information was provided in a press note issued by the Reasi Police on Sunday.
According to the police, in the first case, FIR number 80/2026 has been registered at Police Station Katra. This case has been registered against Ganesh Singh, son of Prakash Singh, resident of Lamsora, Tehsil Bhomag, District Reasi. According to the police, a case has been registered against the accused under the relevant sections of the law and an investigation has been initiated.
In the second case, FIR number 81/2026 has been registered, in which Kuldeep Singh, son of Kewal Singh, resident of Sarotekote, Tehsil Bhomag, District Reasi, has been named as the accused. In this case too, the police have taken prompt action and initiated the investigation.
Police further stated that investigations into both cases are currently underway, and necessary legal action is being taken in accordance with the law. Police officials stated that any form of illegal activity will not be tolerated. The entire operation was carried out under the leadership of Inspector Ranjit Singh Rao, in-charge of PP Banganga and SHO of Katra Police Station. The operation was supervised by SDPO Katra Dr. Bhishma Dubey (JKPS) and Katra SP Vipan Chandran (JKPS).
Reasi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Paramvir Singh (JKPS) reiterated that the police have a zero-tolerance policy towards violations of the law. He appealed to the general public to cooperate with the police to maintain peace and harmony. Further investigations are currently underway in both cases, and the police are thoroughly investigating every aspect.
