Strict warning to soldiers making reels of Naxal operation

Bastar. The social media activities of the soldiers deployed in Naxal operations are becoming a major reason for the leak of the strategy of the operation. Due to the social media reels, group photos and video shootings being made by the DRG soldiers, the Naxalites are already sensing the moves of the police.

Even after the death of a top Naxal leader like Basavaraju, there has been no decrease in the technical and intelligence activities of the organization. The Naxalite press notes being issued continuously are confirming that they are keeping a close eye on the strategy of the police. Not only this, they are also selectively targeting the villagers who are informing. IG Bastar Sundarraj P admitted that the activity of the soldiers on social media is now becoming a reason for breach in security. He has issued clear instructions that all such social media accounts should be identified and banned, which are doing video shooting or other activities during the operation.

The IG also said that on many occasions, information has been received about video recording by the soldiers during the encounter itself, which is not only a violation of the operation protocol, but can also put the entire team at risk. In such a situation, now the police headquarters has issued strict instructions that action will be taken against the concerned soldiers for violating the rules.
