Strong security for Rajanna devotees: IG Chandrasekhar Reddy

Vemulawada: Multi Zone-1 IG Chandrasekhar Reddy said that comprehensive measures are being taken to provide strong security to the devotees of Rajanna coming from all over the country. During his visit to the Bhimeshwara Swamy temple in Vemulawada on Sunday, he was welcomed with a Poornakumbha by the temple’s chief priests.

Later, they had darshan of the Lord and performed special pujas. EO Ramadevi presented the tirtha prasadam of the Lord in the blessing mandapam. Speaking to the police officials on this occasion, he said that devotees from all over the country would flock to Vemulawada, known as Dakshinkashi, in large numbers, and ordered them to make comprehensive security arrangements so that the devotees coming to have darshan of the Lord would not face any problems.

He advised that special attention should be paid to traffic control and patrolling should be increased in the areas surrounding the temple to ensure smooth movement of devotees. He instructed to keep an eye on suspicious persons and be vigilant to prevent any untoward incidents. Earlier, he received a police salute. District Additional SP Chandraiah, temple EO Ramadevi, Vemulawada, Siricilla, DSPs Srinivasulu, Nagendrachari, CIs Veera Prasad, Srinivas, and others were present in the program.
