The government has written to the central government to dismiss IAS officer Santosh Verma.

Madhya Pradesh: The state government has sent a proposal to the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions to dismiss Santosh Kumar Verma from service and revoke the IAS award granted to him.
Verma was removed from his post as Deputy Secretary in the Agriculture Department and transferred to the General Administration Department (GAD) pool following controversial remarks against Brahmin girls.
The GAD has written to the Secretary of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, drawing attention to several memorandums received by the government from various social organizations, employee unions, and elected representatives regarding Verma. These memorandums demand his dismissal from the Indian Administrative Service.
The GAD has also mentioned the case in which Verma is accused of tampering with a court order to secure his acquittal in a criminal case and subsequently obtaining promotion from the State Administrative Service (SAS) to the IAS.
