Students of Rajim’s PG College Rajeev Lochan enhanced their knowledge by taking an educational tour.

Raipur. Students of PG College, Rajim, Gariaband district reached Chhattisgarh State Election Commission on a one-day educational tour. While these 26 students of Political Science toured all the rooms of the State Election Commission, at the end of the tour they also had a courtesy meeting with State Election Commissioner Shri Thakur Ram Singh and Secretary Shri Mohammad Qaiser Abdul Haq in the meeting room. Commissioner Shri Thakur first of all described this educational tour of the students as helpful in enhancing their knowledge. He one by one quenched the curiosities of these curious children who had reached the capital about the election process, model code of conduct, EVMs used during elections, ballot paper etc. He also instructed the students that there should be curiosity in the mind, it makes it easier to understand things in detail. At the same time, preparation is also important for the betterment of every work. This preparation brings self-confidence in us and also removes hesitation from the mind. During the meeting, at first the students were a little hesitant but they were encouraged by the friendly behavior of Commissioner Shri Singh and asked many questions. After this conversation of about 45 minutes, the students seemed very satisfied and also thanked the Commissioner and Secretary. On this occasion, Under Secretary Mr. Alok Srivastava, Mr. Pranay Verma and officials of the Commission were also present.
