BETIA. There was chaos in the Satyagraha Express going from Raxaul to Delhi via Bettiah in Bihar when a cloud of smoke started coming out from the train bogie. This accident happened on Saturday morning with Satyagraha Express near Gurchurava Railway Gumti near Macholia Railway Station. After this accident an atmosphere of panic was created among the passengers. After this, some people jumped from the moving train and the people sitting in it started screaming.
According to the information received, the speed of the train was low as it was on the outskirts of Makholia station. As soon as it was realized that smoke was coming, the driver stopped the train. After this people started running away from the cart. A crowd of passengers gathered on the second railway line. There were screams everywhere due to the fear of fire in the train. The train driver and other employees inspected the smoke.
Raju Srivastava, a middle-class sugar mill worker who was traveling in the train, said the train stopped for half an hour for inspection. After this the vehicle moved ahead. Speaking further on this occasion, Majholia Station Master Prasun Rai said that Satyagraha Express had stopped at Majholia Railway Station. Due to this, the train driver slowed down the speed of the train by applying brakes. Due to this, smoke started coming out from the rear sleeping car brake of the train. When the railway passengers saw it, they became confused and due to security reasons, they left the train.
On the other hand, smoke investigation revealed that there was no fire in the train. The incident resulted in no injuries or injuries. After inspection, the train was sent to Majholia from Gurchurava Railway Gumti. After stopping for two minutes at Machholia, the train left for Anand Vihar. All passengers were able to resume their journey safely.
