Supreme Court Collegium reiterates recommendation for transfer of four judges of Telangana High Court

New Delhi (IANS). The Supreme Court Collegium appointed Telangana High Court Justices C. Sumalatha, G. Reiterated its recommendation for transfer of Anupama Chakraborty, Munnuri Laxman and M. Sudhir Kumar.

The Collegium had on August 3 proposed the transfer of Justices Sumalatha, Chakraborty, Laxman and Sudhir Kumar to the Gujarat, Patna, Rajasthan and Calcutta High Courts, respectively.

The collegium considered the requests made for reconsideration of the transfer proposals and said on Thursday that it did not find “any merit” in the requests made by them.
