Surat: State Monitoring Cell raids gambling den in Kapodra
The State Monitoring Cell has conducted a major raid in Surat’s Kapodra Police Station area. Gandhinagar State Monitoring Cell raided gambling dens in Kapodra area. During the raid, 38 people including a woman were arrested. 38 mobiles, two cars, 11 two-wheelers and one rickshaw including goods worth Rs 22.32 lakh were recovered.
State Monitoring Cell raided Surat
The Gandhinagar State Monitoring Cell received information that a big gambling den is running near Khadi Palia, on the banks of Nana Varachha Tapi river, in Surat’s Kapodra police station limits. A large number of people are gambling here and gambling is being done. On the basis of this information, Gandhinagar State Monitoring Cell has raided here and taken major action.
18 people declared wanted
The Gandhinagar State Monitoring Cell has arrested 38 people including a woman from here. The custody of all these people has been handed over to the Kapodra police. Along with this, 18 people including gamblers and those who come here to gamble have been declared wanted. A case has been registered in the Kapodra police station in this whole matter. Legal action has been taken against all those caught.
