Swachh Teerth Abhiyan: Nirmala participates in cleanliness drive at Eri Katha Ramar Temple

Chengalpattu: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday participated in the cleanliness drive under the Swachh Teerth campaign at the Eri Katha Ramar temple in Madhurantakam, Tamil Nadu.

The PM appealed to the people to carry out cleanliness activities in temples across the country ahead of the consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Delivering his inaugural address at the 27th National Youth Festival in Nashik, the Prime Minister reiterated his call for cleanliness drive, urging citizens to clean pilgrimage places and temples across the country on the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ day of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya .

The consecration of Shri Ram Lala will take place in the temple of Ayodhya on Monday. The idol of Lord Rama has been installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform rituals to commemorate ‘Pran Pratistha’; A team of priests led by Laxmikant Dixit will lead the main ritual. Many celebrities and celebrities have also been invited to the ceremony.
