Sweep cycle rally was taken out on 7th May giving the message of voting
Raigarh. On the occasion of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, a sweep cycle rally was organized under the voter awareness campaign under the sweep program. An effort was made to make voters aware through cycle rally. It was also appealed that they should ensure 100% participation in the voting to be held on 7th May. Under the direction of Collector and District Election Officer Mr. Karthikeya Goyal, the cycle rally was led by CEO District Panchayat and Sweep Nodal Officer Mr. Jitendra Yadav. During this, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Shri Sunil Kumar Chandravanshi was also present.
It is noteworthy that a sweep cycle rally was organized today as part of the sweep campaign being run for 100 percent participation in the voting to be held in the district on May 7. The cycle rally was flagged off by CEO District Panchayat Shri Jitendra Yadav. During this, CEO District Panchayat Mr. Jitendra Yadav said that all voters must participate in the voting to be held on May 7. He said that every vote is very valuable. We should use it ourselves and inspire others to do the same. The cycle rally started from Collectorate Raigarh at 7 am and passed through Kelo Vihar Colony, Rose Garden, Degree College and ended again at Collectorate.
CEO District Raigarh Mr. Rajesh Sahu, District Education Officer Mr. B. Bakhala, DMC Mr. Narendra Chaudhary along with officials and employees of Municipal Corporation, Education Department and general public participated in the cycle rally. The district administration team including CEO Mr. Yadav while riding a bicycle chanted ‘Chala Raigarhiya, Vote Devaiyaan’, Wake up voters, you are the creator of India’s destiny, this is the basis of democracy. Vote is useless, your voting is the life of democracy, leave it. Gave the message of voter awareness to the city residents with the slogan of ‘let’s do all our work first’ and vote.
