Sirsa Guarantor arrested for using forged documents to secure bail

Sirsa: Civil Lines police have arrested a man who used a fake Aadhaar card and fake documents to obtain bail for a Bathinda resident involved in a snatching case. SHO Inspector Pradeep Kumar said the court informed the police that the accused, Mukesh, a resident of Agroha in Hisar district, had used someone else’s identity to obtain bail.
According to the police, Mukesh had pasted his photo on the documents of a resident of Chaubarja village in Sirsa. He also used a fake signature and fake documents to act as a guarantor for Bal Karan Singh, who was lodged in Sirsa jail in a snatching case. When the court examined the documents, they were found to be fake. The court then directed Mukesh to appear, but he did not.
Following the court’s instructions, the police registered a case under relevant sections and began an investigation. Civil Lines police arrested Mukesh following a tip-off. Police said Mukesh was being questioned about the involvement of others in the racket. He has been sent to judicial custody.
