Rahul Gandhi Flags LPG Shortage, Blames Government’s Foreign Policy

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the central government should take appropriate steps before the shortage of LPG cylinders in the country increases further. He made key comments on this issue in the Parliament premises in Delhi on Thursday. It is known that the country is facing a shortage of LPG cylinders. While there is a huge shortage of commercial gas cylinders, domestic consumers are also not getting adequate cylinders. In this context, the opposition at the center has taken up agitation.
Opposition leaders protested on the Parliament premises on Thursday morning. They demanded that the gas shortage issue be resolved quickly. Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi also participated in the protest. On this occasion, he criticized the Center. “The Center should respond quickly to the oil shortage in the country. It should wake up before it becomes a crisis. The Central foreign policy should change. Gas is a problem in the country. Oil is a problem. Petrol is a problem. Because we have compromised on energy security. The reason for this is a flawed foreign policy. Precaution is needed on the oil issue. The Prime Minister and the government should respond quickly to this. We should ensure that the people are not burdened. I will have a policy to speak on such issues.
I should speak on the issue of LPG, gas and oil. But now a new policy has been introduced to speak like this. First the minister will take a decision on this. Then I will speak. Then the minister will give an answer. Let’s see what happens in this matter,” Rahul Gandhi commented. Along with the Congress, MPs from other parties including DMK, TMC and SP participated in the opposition protest. Opposition woman MP Priyanka Gandhi also sat at the cooking stove and protested against the shortage of oil in the country.
