Facilities should be provided to laborers at employment sites: DRDO Sekhar Reddy

Kattangur, April 16: Keeping in mind the summer, DRDO Sekhar Reddy has instructed officials to provide drinking water, shade and first aid facilities at the employment guarantee works being carried out in the villages. On Thursday, he inspected the employment guarantee works being carried out in Kattangur and Kurumarthi villages, as well as the grain purchase centers and nurseries. He inquired about the problems of the laborers and farmers and examined the muster rolls and attendance details and spoke to them. Due to the intense heat, he advised the laborers to report to the places by 6 am every day.

Later, SAH met with women and advised them to make good use of government schemes by paying employment opportunities, bank linkage and Srinidhi loans on time. They advised the organizers to transport the paddy to the millers by putting it in a can as soon as the matcher arrives at the paddy purchase centers. They also asked them to take proper precautions to prevent the plants from drying out in the nursery. The sarpanches of the respective villages Mukkamala Shekhar, Dhara Satthemma Bhiksham, APO Kadem Rammohan, Panchayat Secretary Vadlakonda Ashok, EC Sridhar and EGS staff participated in this program.
