Tantrik neighbour beaten up, attacker arrested

Korba. In a rural area, a person beat up his neighbor on suspicion of witchcraft. Police arrested the accused in the case. The incident took place on Friday in Kurtha village under Korbi police station. Manoj Kumar Dhanwar (45), a resident of the village, was suspected of practicing witchcraft by his neighbor Jitendra Sarthi.

On Saturday, Jitendra Sarthi beat up Manoj Kumar and threatened him over the same issue. The victim Manoj Kumar reached the police station and filed a report of the incident. In the case, police registered a case against the accused Jitendra Sarthi under the Tonhhi Torture Act and investigated. The accused has been arrested and sent to jail.
