Awareness programs in every village under Stop Diarrhea Campaign

Balodabazar. Stop Diarrhea Campaign is being run in the district to prevent and control diarrhea. In the campaign, various programs are being organized in villages to create awareness among people through rallies, posters and discussions at the village level.

Collector Deepak Soni has directed the Health Department as well as Education, Panchayat, Public Health Engineering to work in coordination to deal with seasonal diseases. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Rajesh Kumar Awasthi said that in diarrhea, a person has continuous diarrhea, which if not cured can cause dehydration, which can be life threatening.

Awareness related slogans have been written to prevent diarrhea, ORS, Zinc tablets have been given in Mitanin medicine box. Along with this, people are also being encouraged to drink clean water, avoid contaminated food and keep the surroundings clean. Apart from this, ORS corners are also being made in health centers.
