Fight Over Cigarette Lighter Claims One Life, Leaves Another Injured in Karnataka

A fight between two friends over a cigarette lighter has claimed the life of one. The other has suffered serious injuries after his tongue was cut off and he is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The horrific incident took place in Kammasandra, Kolar district of Karnataka.
Going into details, two friends, Prashanth (35) and Roshan Hegde, went to a cricket match in Kammasandra, Karnataka. After the match, the two drank alcohol. In this process, a fight broke out between the two friends over a cigarette lighter. As the fight escalated, they attacked each other with beer bottles. In this incident, Roshan Hegde suffered a serious injury to his tongue.
Roshan, who was scared of being seriously injured, tried to flee from the spot in his car. But Prashant tried to stop him. He grabbed the car door and tried to stop him. With this, he dragged Prashant along with the car and quickly crashed into a tree. Prashant, who was seriously injured in this incident, died on the way to the hospital. The police have taken Roshan, who was responsible for Prashant’s death, into custody. Roshan is being treated at a private hospital for severe injuries, including a severed tongue. Meanwhile, the scenes related to this fight were recorded on the car’s dashboard camera.
