Himachal: Man arrested for raping minor

Himachal Pradesh: A 45-year-old ice cream vendor in Rampur subdivision has been arrested for allegedly attempting to rape a minor. The arrest was made following a complaint filed by the girl’s mother at the Jhakri police station. On October 3, while her mother was busy with other customers, the accused allegedly lured the girl to his cart with ice cream. When the mother noticed her daughter was missing, she went looking for her. That’s when she saw the vendor in a compromising position with her daughter. Police have registered a case.
