Brutal murder for liquor, accused arrested by Tikrapara police

Raipur. Accused Om Verma of brutal murder was arrested. According to the police, Bisoha Yadav father late Samaru Yadav age 55 years resident Sanjay Nagar Gaura Chaira Chowk police station Tikrapara Raipur Chhattisgarh police station appeared and lodged a report that on 29.01.2025 at 22:30 pm, accused Om Verma had purchased 02 quarters of masala from Bhatgaon liquor shop, which was taken by the applicant’s son Khileshwar Yadav and his other friend. Regarding the same matter, the accused brought a sharp knife from his house and made a fatal attack on the knee and thigh of the leg below the navel of the deceased. On the report, the applicant’s son was immediately sent to Mekahara for treatment of the injured, and a crime was registered against the accused under crime number 96/25 section 109 IPC and investigation was taken. The son of the applicant for treatment, Khileshwar Yadav, died due to which section 103 of the Indian Justice Code was added to the case and senior officials were immediately informed about the incident. The team members took the case seriously and immediately reached the spot and collected evidence from the area around the spot, interrogated the people around and got detailed information about the incident, collected information about the accused and immediately left to search for the address of the absconding accused and raided his residence for the arrest of the absconding accused after the incident. When the accused was not found on the spot, with the help of informers and technical support, raids were conducted at his possible hiding places and the accused was surrounded and captured and brought to the police station. On strict interrogation, the accused told that he had purchased 02 quarters of Desi Masala liquor from Bhatgaon liquor shop, which the deceased brought with him.
