Conspiracy to divert our 200 TMCs of water: Harish Rao

Hyderabad: Former Minister Harish Rao has criticized the Congress party, which did us immense injustice in water shares during the unity government. Today, it is committing another historical betrayal. He said that the state Congress government is going to write a death sentence for Telangana through today’s irrigation meeting. Harish Rao, who held a press meet at Telangana Bhavan today, expressed his concern that the state will be betrayed in the meeting being held on the water dispute in Delhi.
He further said, “The Revanth government
is cooperating with AP in a systematic manner in the matter of Polavaram Nallamalasagar. Take a look at the nature of those conspiracies.
Revanth Reddy went to the Delhi meeting thinking that it would go or not. He discussed the issues of the river as if it was not on the agenda. He signed the agreement and denied the rights of Telangana’s river waters. He formed a committee and rolled out the red carpet for AP’s water exploitation. After the last date of the tender passed, he went to the Supreme Court and indirectly agreed to the Nallamalasagar project. He filed a meaningless writ and completely declared his support for Nallamalasagar,” Revanth revealed the conspiracies.
“Revanth Reddy is paying Gurudakshina to Chandrababu Naidu by cooperating in a planned manner. Engineers are participating in the Delhi meeting being held today under AP pressure. This is not a meeting on water disputes in name, but a conspiracy related to the Nallamala Sagar project that will massively divert our 200 TMC of water. Similarly, AP had put this project
forward as the sole agenda in the meeting organized by the Central Water Resources Department in the past. Even now, the AP rulers are bringing the Nallamala Sagar Link project to the fore and discussing it,” Harish Rao criticized.
