Police dumped the body in another area.. What happened next?
Lucknow: The police dumped the body of an unidentified person in another area at night. In the morning, locals saw the body in front of a shop and informed the police. The police who investigated were shocked to find that their own personnel had committed this act. (Police Dump Unidentified Body) This incident took place in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. At around 2 am on Friday, a police constable and a home guard reached the Shastri Nagar L Block crossing area on a bike. The body of an unidentified person was brought there in an electric auto. They left the body in front of a shop and left from there.
Meanwhile, on Friday morning, locals were shocked to see the body in front of the shop. They informed the Lohia Nagar police. They reached there. The body of the unidentified person was taken to the government hospital for postmortem.
Meanwhile, the police examined the CCTV footage of the area. Constable Rajesh and Home Guard Rohtas were shocked to learn that the body of the man was brought in an auto and dumped there.
The police have suspended both of them along with SI Jitendra, who was in charge of L Block outpost. The investigation into the incident has been handed over to SP Ayush Vikram Singh. Meanwhile, this video clip recorded on CCTV has gone viral on social media.
