RV Arlekar to be sworn in as acting Governor of Tamil Nadu on March 12

Tamil Nadu: Kerala Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Orlekar will be sworn in on the 12th, taking additional charge as Governor of Tamil Nadu.
R.N. Ravi, who previously served as Governor of Tamil Nadu, has been appointed Governor of West Bengal. Following this, the President ordered on March 5th that Kerala Governor R.V. Orlekar will also assume the additional charge of Governor of Tamil Nadu. In this regard, R.V.R. Lekar is arriving in Chennai on the 11th. On the same day, R.N. Ravi, who has served as Governor of Tamil Nadu for the past four and a half years, will be relieved of his duties as Governor of Tamil Nadu and departing for Kolkata. Officials and staff at the Governor’s House are bidding him farewell.
R.V.R. Lekar, who will assume additional charge as Governor of Tamil Nadu, will be sworn in on March 12th at approximately 12 noon. High Court Chief Justice S.A. Dharmadhikari will administer the oath. The swearing-in ceremony is expected to be a simple one.
