World-class airport in Hosur: Annamalai’s promise

Tamil Nadu: Former BJP state president K. Annamalai assured that after the AIADMK forms the government in Tamil Nadu, steps will be taken to build a metro rail and a world-class airport in Hosur.

At an election campaign rally in Kelamangalam, Krishnagiri district, on Saturday, in support of BJP candidate Dr. C. Nageshkumar from the Thali Assembly constituency and AIADMK candidate Balakrishna Reddy from the Hosur Assembly constituency, he said: Of the 505 promises made by the DMK in the last election, not even 70 have been fully fulfilled. No development projects have been implemented in Hosur in the last five years. If a coalition government of the central and state governments is formed, we will take development to the next level.

Hosur needs a world-class airport. The project report submitted by the state to the central government is inaccurate. The DMK government is not interested in implementing the airport and metro rail projects. He said that if the AIADMK alliance candidates win from the Thali and Hosur assembly constituencies, steps will be taken to bring in the metro rail and airport. BJP district president Narayanan, former MP Narasimhan, former district president M. Nagaraj and others were present during the campaign.
