29 weapons recovered, Naxalites had looted them

Narayanpur. Recently on 21 May, there was an encounter between the police and Naxalites in the Naxal-affected area Kalahaja-Kudmel forest. After which the security forces have achieved a big success. The security forces have recovered a total of 29 weapons from the possession of the Naxalites, out of which many rifles have been found to be looted in old big attacks.

The police have identified 4 rifles out of the 29 recovered weapons. These weapons have been found to be related to big Naxal attacks like Tadmetla (2010), Kaushalnar (2010), Gawadi (2010) and Burkapal (2017). At present 25 weapons are yet to be identified.

The police is continuously engaged in identifying them. This operation is being considered the biggest success in terms of weapon recovery and breaking the Naxalite network. Let us tell you that on 21 May, there was a big encounter between the soldiers and the Naxalites in the Kalahaja-Kudmel forest.
