Raipur switch gear trader duped of lakhs

Raipur. A young man lost 10 lakh rupees after falling prey to the RTO’s fake e-challan app. The incident occurred on December 22nd. The RTO alerted the public three days after the fraud. According to information received, Pankaj Patel, 35, owner of Patel Switch Gear located at Arihant Complex Ganj, received an RTO e-challan file at 12 noon on December 22nd. Upon clicking the app, his bank account was hacked and 10 lakh rupees were transferred. Pankaj Patel filed a complaint under Section 318-4 at the Ganj police station on the night of December 27th.
