Ayub Khan is a big fan of Hindi writers, said- ‘Reading them shaped my personality’
Mumbai (IANS). Actor Ayub Khan, who is known for playing versatile characters on screen, shared how the Hindi language has played an important role in his showbiz journey.
The senior actor is currently playing the role of Bejoy Bagchi in the show ‘Neerja…Ek Nayi Pehchan’. The country will celebrate ‘Hindi Day’ on 14 September. One of the most spoken languages, Hindi rules the hearts of the citizens of the world. ‘Hindi Diwas’ stands out as an occasion which underlines the importance of Hindi language.
Talking about the same, Ayub shared, “I am fluent in Hindi and Urdu, but I try to speak in Hindi most of the time. This lovely language has made my journey successful in the world of Hindi cinema and television. Has played an important role.”
Known for his work in projects like ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, ‘Gangajal’, ‘Mela’, ‘Uttaran’ among others, Ayub said, “I am a huge fan of Hindi writers, poets, authors and lyricists who have given us He has given his beautiful words. It is a privilege to have access to his words. Reading them has shaped my personality.”
He also urged parents to encourage their children to read more in the language, as its essence can never be translated.
