Thaveka’s Adhav Arjun reacts sharply to the allegations against the DMK alliance

Tamil Nadu: Adhav Arjun, General Secretary of Thaveka Campaign Management and candidate from the Villivakkam constituency, leveled serious allegations against the DMK alliance on Sunday regarding the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Speaking to the media at the Thaveka office in Villivakkam, he stated that the DMK is hindering the growth of its alliance partners.

Adhav Arjun stated that Liberation Tigers of Tamil Nadu leader Thol Thirumavalavan wanted to contest the Assembly elections but withdrew due to the crisis and internal differences within the DMK. Similarly, four MDMK candidates are contesting on the DMK’s ‘Udayasooriyan’ symbol. This is a clear indication that the DMK is trying to prevent the growth and independent identity of its alliance partners.

He also stated that the TDP has not formed any alliance committees or held talks with anyone. The TDP’s primary objective is to participate in power and be active in the decision-making process. Adhav Arjun clarified that the TDP has not informed the alliance of its decisions and, therefore, is independent of the alliance’s strategy.

He stated that the TDP is the only party with the courage to stand alone against the DMK alliance, which comprises 23 parties, and the AIADMK alliance, which comprises more than 10 parties. He stated that this electoral contest is tough, but the THAVEKA will effectively field its candidates through its strategy and candidates.

Adhav Arjun also commented on the current vote bank of the AIADMK and BJP. He stated that the AIADMK has already secured approximately 25 percent of the vote, and the BJP has less than 5 percent of the vote bank in Tamil Nadu. Therefore, the THAVEKA does not need to directly challenge or compete with these parties. He stated that the party will focus on making an impact in the elections through its candidates and organizational strategy.

He also emphasized that the THAVEKA will take advantage of the internal conflicts and vote-sharing imbalances within the alliance parties to field its candidates strongly. He told the media that the party would prioritize the real problems of the people and development work in the elections and focus on regional issues through its candidates.

This response from Adhav Arjun makes it clear that Thaveka will try to use the DMK alliance’s strategies and internal disputes as an election issue. This statement will further deepen the political complexities and alliance equations in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
