MP: Congress to protest Vijayvargiya’s remarks in Suwasra

Madhya Pradesh: The Congress Party has announced a symbolic protest by ringing bells outside the residence of Suwasra BJP MLA Hardeep Singh Dang at 1:30 pm on Sunday.
The protest is being held in response to Urban Administration Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya’s controversial “bell” comment, which he made while responding to a journalist’s question about the tragic incident of water contamination in Indore. The protest is being held at the behest of State Congress President Jitu Patwari and at the invitation of District Congress President Mahendra Gurjar, with Assembly candidate Rakesh Patidar expected to be present.
Congress leaders alleged that the Minister’s comment was insensitive and authoritarian, especially in light of the tragic incident in Indore, where 15 people reportedly died and approximately 2,800 fell ill after drinking sewage-contaminated water supplied by the BJP-ruled municipal corporation.
