Four terrorists linked to banned organisations arrested; huge cache of arms recovered

Manipur: Security forces have arrested four militants belonging to different banned organizations, police said on Sunday.
They said a member of the banned People’s Liberation Army was arrested at a checkpoint in Kakching district, while another member of the organization was arrested from Moirang Konjengbam in Bishnupur district.
Earlier, security forces arrested a member of the banned Prepak (PRO) organization from Moreh Gate in Tengnoupal district.
A police officer said another member of the KCP (PWG) organization was arrested from his home in Yumnam Huidrom in Imphal West district. He said a large quantity of arms and ammunition, including rifles and pistols, were seized from the militants associated with the banned organization.
He said a massive search operation is underway in the state to arrest those involved in extortion and criminal activities. As part of this, four terrorists were arrested during an intelligence-based search operation.
