Punjab: Vaccination camp for maternal and child health

Punjab: Under the World Immunization Week, a special vaccination camp was organized at the Senior Citizen Care Center located on Khera Road. This camp was organized with the joint efforts of Prem Nagar Seva Society, Municipal Council and Phagwara Civil Hospital. During this, essential vaccines were administered to pregnant women and children up to five years of age to protect them from various diseases. The vaccination campaign was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh Chandra, Executive SMO of Civil Hospital. Vaccination in-charge Dr. Naresh Kundra, along with team members ANM Sona and Asha worker Meera, vaccinated 20 newborns and two pregnant women from Ward 21 of Prem Nagar and Khera Road.
