Himachal: Tree plantation campaign organised

Himachal Pradesh: 133 Eco Task Force in collaboration with teachers, staff and students of Government Higher Secondary School, Tikkar, Shimla and residents of Tikkar village organized a massive plantation drive at various prominent locations of the area to mark the World Nature Conservation Day.

During the drive, saplings were planted around Government Secondary School, Tikkar, Aurama Valley Society and other sites under Gram Panchayat Naldhera. The initiative was aimed at spreading awareness about the urgent need to conserve and restore the natural environment, especially in the wake of increasing environmental challenges.
