Bomb threat: IndiGo flight from Kochi to Delhi makes emergency landing in Nagpur

New Delhi: An IndiGo flight (6E2706) from Kochi to Delhi made an emergency landing at Nagpur airport on Tuesday morning following a bomb threat.

The flight departed from Kochi at 9:20am and was scheduled to reach Delhi by 12:35pm.

According to the reports the threat specifically mentioned the flight number, prompting immediate action as per standard security protocol.

As the flight had already taken off, it was redirected to Nagpur for safety reasons where all the passengers were safely deplaned.

Additionally, a thorough investigation into the matter is currently underway.

Previously, in a similar incident an Air India flight (AI 379) from Phuket to New Delhi received a bomb threat and made an emergency landing on the island.
