The body of a student who left for school was found in a pond.
Durg. A 13-year-old boy drowned in a pond in Hathkhoj village in the district. The boy left home for school on November 7th. When he didn’t return home late last evening, his parents searched the area, but were unable to find him. The boy’s body was recovered from the pond on Saturday. The Old Bhilai Police Station handed over the body to his family.
In fact, Deepak Satpati, 13, son of Pranay Satpati, a resident of the industrial area of Hathkhoj, was asked by his teacher to call his parents after he failed to complete his homework. The next day, Deepak left home for school but instead went for a walk to the pond. He drowned while bathing in the pond, resulting in his death.
Family members stated that Deepak couldn’t swim. The school teacher had asked him to call his family.
