Dacoity bid foiled in Odisha’s Keonjhar district, 5 hard-core criminals arrested

Anandapur: Police foiled a dacoity attempt on Monday and arrested. 5 notorious criminals in Keonjhar district of Odisha. They were arrested from the Jarda village under Ramachandrapur police station limits in the district.

The accused persons have been identified as Karan Pradhan, Ahula Tarak, Rahul, Laxman and Nanda Rao of Purbakot village under Korei police station limits in Jajpur district.

As per reports, these criminals were caught by the police while they were planning a dacoity.

Three bikes, a cutter, a machetes, an iron rod and a mobile phone were seized from them.

There are several other cases pending in these accused persons’ name in different Police Stations in Ranchi, Cuttack’s Badambadi, Kuakhia and Korei police stations.

However, all the accused persons have been forwarded to the Court after medical tests.
