Tamil Nadu: 160 books published in Muttamizharignar translation project

Tamil Nadu: 160 books have been published under the Muttamizharigna Translation Project, which translates and publishes educational and informative books on topics such as medicine and engineering into Tamil.
The interim financial report states: “Similar to the translation of scholarly texts from other countries into Tamil, 74 books have been published so far under the ‘Dravidam in Every Direction’ project, which aims to translate and publish the best books published in Tamil into foreign languages such as English. 160 books have been published under the Muttamizharigna Translation Project, which translates and publishes educational books on medicine and engineering into Tamil.”
Ambedkar’s work… In an effort to publish the thoughts of Periyar E.V.R. Ambedkar in foreign languages, various books have been published so far in 21 languages, including English, French, Arabic, Hindi, Gujarati, and others. It was decided to translate Ambedkar’s works into simple Tamil and publish them as public editions, and 27 volumes have been published so far.
The International Mathematical Tamil Conference was successfully held, a new effort to develop computer Tamil, unlike any other state in India.
Over the past five years, the Sangamam-Namma Uru festival has been held in Chennai and other major cities in Tamil Nadu to provide opportunities for folk artists. The Samathuvaap Pongal festival is celebrated in all districts.
