Tamil Nadu: 8 suburban electric trains will be cancelled tomorrow

Tamil Nadu: An important notice has been issued for Chennai Railway passengers. The Chennai Railway Division stated in a press release on Friday that several electric train services operating between the Chennai Beach station and Chengalpattu section will be affected from April 4th to April 7th. This change is due to maintenance and technical work being carried out on platforms 10 and 11 at Egmore station.
According to railway officials, eight electric trains operating on this route on Sunday, April 5th, have been completely cancelled, while four trains have been partially cancelled. This may cause inconvenience to daily commuters and working people.
The fully cancelled trains include those departing from Chennai Beach for Tambaram at 4:15 am, 11:00 am, 11:20 am, 11:40 am, and 11:59 am. Additionally, trains departing from Tambaram for Chennai Beach at 10:20 pm, 11:00 pm, and 11:40 pm have been completely cancelled.
The Railways has also clarified that similar impacts will be felt on some trains on April 4, 6, and 7. Trains departing from Coast for Tambaram at 5:50 am, 11:05 pm, 11:30 pm, and 11:59 pm on these dates will be completely cancelled.
Regarding partially cancelled trains, the train departing from Coast for Chengalpattu at 3:55 am on April 5 will be stopped at Tambaram station. Passengers will have to travel further by alternative means.
