Tamil Nadu: Applications have been invited to fill vacant radiologist positions in government hospitals.
The Tamil Nadu Medical Staff Selection Board has issued the following notification in this regard:
67 vacancies for the post of Radiographer (Radiologist) are to be filled through direct appointment under the Tamil Nadu State Medical Service. Candidates who have completed a 2-year Diploma in Radiological Technology, B.Sc (Radiography and Imaging Technology), B.Sc (Radio Diagnosis Technology), or B.Sc (Radiology and Imaging Technology) are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: The age limit is 32 years for the General Category. There is no age limit for reserved categories such as SC, SC-Arunthathiyar, ST, BC, BC-Muslim, MBC, and TNC. Selection will be based on weighted marks. A total of 100% weightage marks will be given for the SSLC examination, 20% for the Plus Two examination, 30% for the Plus Two examination, and 50% for the prescribed educational qualification, and recruitment will be done accordingly.
Candidates with the required educational qualifications should apply by January 4th on the Medical Staff Selection Board website, www.mrbtn.gov.in. A 20% internal quota will be provided for candidates who have studied in the Tamil medium.
