Tamil Nadu: Congress praises Chief Minister Stalin for forming India Alliance

Tamil Nadu: Congress MP Karti Chidambaram has stated that the Congress alliance with the DMK is strong in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

Speaking to reporters about the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Karti Chidambaram said that the DMK-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as a large organization in Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister Stalin should be commended for building this large organization.

When this large organization contests the elections together, it will be ahead of the other two or three organizations.

We have a long-standing relationship with the DMK. We (Congress-DMK) have been together since 2004. The alliance that Sonia Gandhi formed with the late former Chief Minister Karunanidhi has stood the test of time.

Except for the 2014 elections, we have fought every election together. In any relationship, some disagreements are inevitable, and these disagreements are legitimate.

But they are easily resolved. He said that when we contest the elections together, everything will be fine.
