Tamil Nadu: Edappadi Palaniswami is going to Delhi today
Tamil Nadu: AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami will arrive in Delhi on Monday.
He will leave for Delhi at 10:45 a.m. and meet with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. It is reported that the two will discuss seat-sharing in this meeting.
With the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections due soon, the parties’ election preparations, including alliance talks and seat-sharing, are in full swing.
The ruling DMK has already initiated seat-sharing discussions.
Therefore, its alliance partners expect the main opposition AIADMK to initiate seat-sharing discussions. Earlier yesterday, Teja alliance leaders held talks for about 30 minutes in Madurai.
It was reported that seat-sharing for the alliance parties was discussed, but no decision was reached. However, Union Minister Piyush Goyal denied this.
