Tamil Nadu: Election Commission allows Vijay to campaign in Tiruppur district

Tamil Nadu: Party leader Vijay will campaign in support of Tamil Nadu Victory Party candidates contesting in the Tiruppur district on Tuesday evening. Party General Secretary N. Anand stated that the Election Commission has granted permission for this.
Vijay, who will arrive at Coimbatore Airport this afternoon, will travel to Avinashi via the Cochin-Salem 6-lane highway. Following this, Vijay will campaign roadside near the new bus stand in Avinashi, supporting the Thaveka candidates contesting in the Tiruppur district on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Victory Party. He will then introduce and speak to the Thaveka candidates contesting in the Tiruppur district at the Perumanallur four-lane road junction.
Party General Secretary N. Anand has also published a post on his X page regarding this.
The post said, “Party leader Vijay, the Election Commission has granted permission to campaign in Tiruppur district today (April 14). The Election Commission has permitted vehicle campaigning from Perumanallur to Pooluvapatti division in Tiruppur district starting at 2 p.m.
The necessary basic facilities have been arranged for this campaign event. No party leader participating in the campaign should be followed by any vehicle, including two-wheelers, behind their campaign vehicle.
This must be strictly followed. We request you to follow the Election Commission’s rules and avoid waiting in line before the scheduled time. “Furthermore, we request that pregnant women, children, school students, senior citizens, the disabled, those with health issues, and the general public refrain from attending these election campaign events in person, and only those who are allowed to participate by watching live on social media and television should participate.” It is allowed to take it,” he said.
