Tamil Nadu: BJP National Women’s Wing leader and Legislative Assembly member Vanathi Srinivasan said it is a matter of concern that Tamil Nadu is becoming a state where crimes against women are on the rise.

The introductory meeting of the Coimbatore Mankara District BJP Women’s Wing Executives was held in Peelamedu on Thursday. In every election held across India, there has been a situation where women’s votes determine victory. Especially in the elections held in the last 10 to 15 years, every political party has created an environment where victory depends on getting women’s votes.

There was a discussion on preparing the women’s team for the upcoming Legislative Assembly elections and making an action plan for them. There is also a proposal to hold the state conference of the BJP women’s team in Trichy. The state president will announce the date of the conference as soon as the dates are received from the central ministers.

The safety of women in college campuses in Tamil Nadu has been questioned. It is a matter of concern that Tamil Nadu is becoming a state where crimes against women are increasing rapidly. The DMK government is a government that betrays women. He said that the BJP Mahila Morcha will work to reach them from door to door. Many people including state Mahila Morcha leader Kavita Srikanth were present during this meeting.
