Tamil Nadu: Kallazhagar’s golden horse chariot reaches Madurai

Tamil Nadu: On the auspicious occasion of the Vaigai River in Madurai, the golden chariot of the Kallazhagar Temple was brought to the Prasanna Venkatajalapathi Temple in Tallakulam on Monday.
The Chithirai festival at the Kallazhagar Temple in Alagarkoil, near Madurai, will begin on Monday (April 27) and continue until May 5. The festival-goer Sundararaja Perumal will be raised as Kallar Thirukolam on Wednesday (April 29) at 6 p.m. On Thursday (April 30) at 5:50 a.m., the ceremony will take place in Puthur, Madurai County, III District, to perform Ethiresevai.
On Friday (May 1) at 2:30 a.m., he will perform services on the thousand-gold chariot parked in front of the Karuppanaswamy Temple in Tallakulam. From there, surrounded by millions of devotees, he will set out for the Vaigai River on a golden horse-drawn chariot to the tunes of auspicious musical instruments. Following this, a ceremony will be held at the Alaghar River at 5:30 a.m.
Following this, the ritual of Kallazhakar ascending the Vaigai River to the Vandiyur Veeraragava Perumal Temple will take place. The ritual of performing the sacred rituals of Kallazhakar at the Veeraragava Perumal Temple will take place at 6 a.m. on Saturday (May 2). Later, at 2 p.m., the ritual of Kallazhakar ascending the Thenur Mandapam and freeing Manduka Maharishi from the curse will take place. Following this, the Dashavatara ritual will be performed at the Ramaraya Mandapam.
On Sunday, at 6 a.m., a ceremony will be held to serve Kallazhakar dressed in Mohini attire. At 2 p.m., the Ananthara palanquin will depart with the Rasanga Thirukolam and arrive at the Tallakulam Sethupathi Manna Mandapam at 11 p.m.
Early on Monday (April 4th), the Lord of Kallazhakha Sethupathi will ascend from the mud temple to the Prasanna Venkatagalapathi Temple in Tallakulam. The Lord will then ascend the temple steps as per religious rituals and reach the Kallazhakha Temple on May 6th. The Chithirai festival at the Kallazhakha Temple will conclude with the festive Shanthi Puja.
In this connection, the golden horse, Shesha, and Garuda vehicle were sent to Madurai from the Kallazhakha Temple in Alagarkoil on Monday morning. The golden horse was brought to the Prasanna Venkatagalapathi Temple in Tallakulam at 12:15 pm on Monday.
