Tamil Nadu: Light rainfall is expected for the next 6 days.

Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has stated that light rain is likely at one or two places in the western hilly districts of Tamil Nadu from Monday (February 2) to February 7.
A press release issued by the Chennai Meteorological Department in this regard stated: An atmospheric circulation persists over the southeast Arabian Sea and adjoining Lakshadweep and Kerala coasts.
Further, due to a lower-level circulation over the Comorin Sea and surrounding areas, light rain is likely at one or two places in the western hilly districts from Monday (February 2) to February 7.
Other parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal are likely to experience dry weather. However, light fog is expected at one or two places in Krishnagiri, Tirupattur, Vellore, Ranipet, Nilgiris, and Dindigul districts from Monday (February 2) to Thursday (February 5). Chennai and its surrounding areas will have partly cloudy skies on Monday.
Rainfall: In Tamil Nadu, 10 mm of rainfall was recorded in Uthukuli and Nalumukku in Tirunelveli district and Thangachimadam in Ramanathapuram district during the 24 hours ending at 8:30 AM on Sunday (February 1).
Warning for fishermen: It stated that along the Tamil Nadu coast, from Monday (February 2) to February 5, squally weather with wind speeds reaching 55 kmph is likely over the south Tamil Nadu coast, Gulf of Mannar, and Comorin Sea.
