Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu Social Justice Minister Vanni Arasu has dismissed the allegations against the state government, stating that these allegations are made with malicious intent and cannot be accepted. He stated that an attempt is being made to unnecessarily create confusion against the government and its allies.
Minister Vanni Arasu made this statement while speaking to the media at Madurai Airport on Tuesday. He stated that the allegations against the DMK regarding activities linked to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Nadu (LTTE) in the Kunnam region of Perambalur district are completely false and have no basis.
He categorically stated that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Nadu have been in alliance with the DMK for a long time and that the two parties maintain political cooperation. According to him, there should be no misunderstanding or misinformation about this alliance.
The Minister further stated that the government has always prioritized development and social justice and is working towards this end. He also stated that some individuals are trying to tarnish the government’s image by spreading misinformation for political gain.
Expressing support for the party leadership and allies, he said that Liberation Tigers of Tamil Nadu leader Tholam Thirumavalavan has always been committed to the principles of peace and non-violence. He stated that, in keeping with this, any activities that promote violence or unrest will not be permitted.
Vanni Arasu also stated that maintaining political stability and social harmony in Tamil Nadu is the government’s primary responsibility, and that all parties should work together to achieve this. He appealed to those making allegations to make statements only after verifying the facts.
